1 Bedroom Cottages

Frontier

2025 Rates   $358/Night    $1790/Week

Frontier has been recently updated with new flooring and finishes throughout. New ceiling fans in main bedroom and in the 3 season screen porch for those warm summer evenings. The Updated 3 season porch now has new furniture and a second dining area and corner lounge couch area. New removable windows in the 3 season porch keeps it dry and warm on those cooler, wet summer days giving you more indoor space but the screen windows are easily removed on the sunny days for a nice summer breeze . A new outside wood deck area has wicker furniture and a retractable sun shade on those sunny days. Another second outdoor patio stone area closer to the forest has Muskoka chairs and a sun shade for more privacy and closer to nature. Frontier now has 2 separate bedrooms with the original cabin door being repurposed to separate the two bedrooms for that rustic cabin feel. The kids bedroom has a single and double bed. The main bedroom has a double bed with an added door out to the 3 season room to give the inside a more open floor plan. The updated Frontier cottage is located in a peaceful corner of Billie Bear’s natural woodland ready for your enjoyment. 


- 1 main bedroom with 1 additional bedroom off of main

- Main: Double bed

- Additional bedroom: 1 double & 1 single bed

- 1 fold down couch in living room (can be used for sleeping in heated area of cottage)

- 1 corner lounge sofa in 3 seasons room (can be used for sleeping but is in unheated part of cottage )

- Full kitchen. Note. In 2025 , appliances will be down sized to make living room bigger, oven will be replaced with convention microwave to increase living room space 

- 3 piece bathroom (shower)

- Electric baseboard heat

- Updated Screened porch with new removable windows 

- New Propane BBQ located on its own wood deck.

- 2 outdoor seating areas (wood deck area and additional patio stone area)

- TV and dvd player (BYO movies please) in living room to keep the kids happy on rainy days 


Accessibility: road access to about 30 feet in front of cabin, stepping stone path to entrance, one step up to porch door landing


Note: scheduled updates planned for start of 2025 season include the following: Kitchen will have new appliances but oven is being replaced with convection microwave combo above 2 burner range top. Bathroom will have updated shower, fixtures and finishes. Wood stove will be added to 3 season porch.
